Good location near the bus and train station. Recepcionist was friendly.
Breakfast was poor and it wasn´t posible pay by card.
This hotel was spotlessly clean with bedding and towels changed each day.Our room was spotless and the decor clean and fresh. Location too was great. Staff very helpful.Air conditioning was areal blessing as it was hot.The room rate was fantastic value for money.
No complaints. It fitted the bill for us perfectly as all we wanted was a clean place to sleep in as we go out and about a lot and really only use the room at night.
This hotel offered great value, was clean and our room was big enough for 3 of us to have seperate beds. It was perfect for the need sof 3 adults having a eekend break
We stayed 4 days in Casa Emilio. The receptionist is friendly & helpful. The room is very clean and I love the bath tab. The location is good, very near to the sightseeing & attraction. The hotel is just opposite a park. The nearest supermaket is just 2-3 min walk, very convenient.
The wifi could be hard to reach at certain level. If you need the wifi, please ask for the lower floor. Euro 1 for 1 day, quite reasonable.
Great location, super-easy access to train and bus station, the two universities, walkable distance to all places of interests and shopping area. Room is comfortable and spacious, very clean, and quiet, though it is just beside one of the main streets of the city. Supermarket, shops, restaurants and cafes a few steps away. It is a 2 star hotel in the instruction but I personally think it shall be rated at least 3. I definitely will stay here again next time I visit the city!
I loved my room and enjoyed being close to all interesting places.
Staff helpful & friendly. 24 hour desk. Room scrupulously clean, & serviced daily. Booked a double but initially offered a twin room - changed for a double with no problems. Some English spoken if needed. City map & a bit of tourist info available. Lift access to all floors. (Note, very small step at entrance, & room that I had might be a bit tight for a wheelchair). Location good - easy reach on foot to all interesting places. Metered parking available on road, underground parking (charged) 400 yards. Hotel will advise. Bar downstairs for breakfast, light meals, drinks & plenty of others locally. This is a small, functional, family run hotel that is comfortable enough and very reasonably priced.
This is just a note! Front rooms get a bit of road noise despite roller shutters & windows. If you're a very light sleeper, take an extra glass of wine before bed. Didn't bother me a bit.
Central, great value for money and great service
Great value. Room was small and we didn't have much of a view, but that was really down to us arriving before check-in time and them giving us the first available room, which is actually a good thing. Also, while we had booked the hotel parking through Booked.net, as it was free parking across the road when we arrived, the receptionist said we could take the hotel parking but we'd be just as well to leave the car where it was and save €11 - great staff.
For the price, it was extremely good value. Paid less than we had the previous night in Granada but Casa Emilio was of a much higher standard. Happy with everything.
This hotel was ideally situated for visiting the recent Huerta Fiesta being within very easy reach of the Malecon Gardens and the Plaza Beluga and Cathedral where most of the activities took place. Our room was very clean and the airconditioning not too fierce. The reception staff were very helpful as was the housekeeping staff.
Although it says it has car parking at 11euro per day (which is very reasonable) the car park is quite a long way away and not too easy to find. We asked for breakfast and was told it would be in the area near to the reception. However when we tried to sit at one of the tables laid for breakfast the woman behind the cafe counter informed us we could not sit there as it was for a group booking and we had to sit at a small table near the counter. When we asked what was available for breakfast she pointed to a case with cakes and criossants or we could have toast. Nothing else was offered. Her attitude left a lot to be desired. She spoiled our overall impression of the hotel
It was central and easy to access. We were only staying one night so it was a flying visit. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was, paided for, parking but its a tight squeeze!
The room smelt of smoke and as the room was at the front of the hotel the traffic was audible, although not enough to keep us awake. Breakfast was small and was the only time the staff were not overly helpful
